When the Naramata Inn first opened in 1908 it was THE place to be: guests traveled by boat from throughout the Okanagan to attend the legendary parties, concerts, plays, regattas, and even séances hosted by owners Eliza and J.M. Robinson. Since reopening in 2020, the Inn has become an even hotter ticket, regularly selling out and landing features in dozens of publications and programs around the world including Food & Wine, The BBC, enRoute magazine, Seattle PI, The Globe and Mail, Canada’s 100 Best, The Marilyn Denis Show, and many more.
Now, this iconic and acclaimed destination Inn can be all yours . . . for a weekend. The Naramata Inn’s new “All-Inn” exclusive buyout offer is available only three weekends each year, and offers guests the opportunity to throw an event that rivals any of Eliza and J.M.’s epic soirées. “The initiative was inspired by a wildly creative and successful weekend celebration held at the Inn this past summer,” said Kate Colley, Inn Partner, Director of Marketing, Sales & Brand.
“We were honoured to host an exclusive weekend celebration this past July. It was not only a successful event for our guests, but it was a thrill for us too. Working closely with our guests gave us the opportunity to really understand their vision and then to create menus, themes and activities that exceeded their expectations and ours! We’re excited to do it again,” she said. During an “All-Inn” weekend, the in-demand Naramata Inn is all yours for a lavish weekend celebration. Attendees check-in on either Friday or Saturday for two nights, with 26 of their closest friends in the heart of Naramata Village. The itinerary includes a first-night welcome party at Eliza – a Naramata wine bar, or a garden gathering with drinks, snacks and lawn games.
After the magic of a good night’s rest on the eastern shores of Lake Okanagan, in-house guests are treated to an elevated continental breakfast created by Chef Ned and his team — to fuel up for a day of adventures on the Naramata Bench ahead of the evening’s anchor celebration. The main event accommodates up to 60 guests, and includes a sparkling reception with passed canapes on the veranda or lawn, and a four-course seated dinner at the Restaurant at Naramata Inn with wine pairings created by Chef Ned Bell and Wine Director Emily Walker.
Naramata Inn features 12 mission-style rooms, each with direct access to the upper veranda and views of the gardens, lake, and hills. Every room showcases its original 1908 charm with period details like original carpentry, and clawfoot or deep soaker tubs. The gorgeous and spacious two-bedroom suite boasts two private verandas with lake views, both a living and dining room resplendent in decor that throws a decidedly Downton Abbey meets Mad Men vibe. All our updated heritage-modern rooms offer all of today’s comforts including fluffy linens, cozy robes, and very reliable WiFi.
