Nearly two years after opening the doors to the reimagined Naramata Inn, the Naramata Hospitality Limited Partnership group is delighted to open Eliza – A Naramata Wine Bar. Eliza opens this week with the anticipation of becoming the second unmissable Naramata Inn venue, this time celebrating the excellence of the wines of the Okanagan and beyond.

Eliza will open Wednesday to Friday from 3pm to 10pm beginning on May 4th, and will move to Monday through Friday beginning on May 17th. Eliza will welcome guests on a first-come, first served basis with no reservations required.

Eliza aspires to become the first great wine bar in Okanagan wine country. Award-winning Wine Director, Emily Walker has curated a wine program to delight, inspire and educate. An extensive by-the-glass wine selection will showcase local excellence in winemaking, augmented with benchmark wines from around the globe. The extensive wine selection will be backed up by a unique, locally-focused cocktail program, as well as tastes of delicious “French Naramation” cuisine from Chef Ned Bell.

Eliza is the Naramata Wine Bar I’ve been dreaming of,” shares Walker. “Every great wine region of the world has an amazing wine bar, and bringing this experience to the Okanagan is incredibly exciting.”

Eliza is located in what was originally the well loved Cobblestone, and also features a delightful outdoor patio. The creative team led by Birch West Interior Design and Marnie MacLean has given the space a wonderful contemporary feel while respecting the heritage of a 114 year old building.

Named in honor of Eliza Robinson, wife, mother and matriarch to the J.M. Robinson family that founded Naramata Inn in 1908, the new Wine Bar recognizes one of the key founders of the magical town of Naramata.
