Thanks for Your Patience and Support for Our Collective Wellbeing

Sharing our love for Naramata’s great ingredients, locations and landscapes with you has been such a pleasure this past year, though not without some major challenges. As BC makes its way out of Covid and back to “normal”, the hospitality industry is facing unprecedented staffing shortages this summer across North America.

It is not business as usual for restaurants, hotels and other services businesses and we want to recognize our staff for their commitment and effort. As a result, the Restaurant at Naramata Inn is limiting our availability to five days a week, and reducing menu offerings when temperatures rise to dangerous levels to ensure the well-being of our staff and guests. Thank you to our customers and community for your patronage, patience and understanding. Hospitality needs you more than ever.

  2. Wine Tasting –  Okay this one is a no brainer, but did you know that Naramata is one of the most unique wine growing regions in the world? Hot, desert-like climates, framed by deglaciated mountains and extinct volcanoes, moderated by lakes, rivers and streams have created a diverse range of ancient soils and numerous microclimates within these valleys. With more than 42 wineries inside a 20 minute radius, you’ll find plenty of terroir to swirl, sip and savour. If you’ve already taken our tour, sipped our list, and want to keep exploring, here’s a great map to get you started.  Discover Naramata’s handy app is also an excellent tool to tee up tastings.

  3. Farmer’s Market –  Honouring the “make it, bake it, grow it” philosophy, the Naramata Community Market is a showcase of locally made products and is operated by the Naramata chapter of Cittaslow,. The market runs every Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm now through September at Manitou Beach. Come hungry as you nosh your way through the beautiful fruits and vegetables, baking, farm eggs, ready-made meals, and preserves, plus handmade treasures like pottery, jewellery and glassware, and local wine and cider.

  1. Get Centred – From peaceful Centre Beach, to a wealth of activities both in person and online, this Naramata anchor is all about wellbeing and connections. With a 70+ year history of summer camps, spiritual retreats and community building, Naramata Centre offers landscapes, architecture and programming to visitors seeking growth and meaning off the beaten track.

  2. Take it Outside – Naramata is a place to get away from it all. In addition to the warm and relaxed village vibe there are endless options for recreation. With hundreds of trails located nearby, there is always a place to adventure to. Think biking, stand up paddling, swimming, hiking, camping, fishing, boating, off-roading – it’s a long and fun list.

Book Now for Fall

Autumn in Naramata is amazing.  Pleasant temperatures team up with the excitement of the harvest for a season that offers much of the activity and enjoyment that summer does. Water lovers can still take to the shores of Okanagan Lake for a paddle with the bright colours of changing leaves as the backdrop. Outdoor enthusiasts can immerse themselves in nature’s changing colour palette by hiking and biking the KVR on the Naramata Bench.

The fall harvest makes it a delicious time to dine at Naramata Inn. Our locally focused, seasonal menus reflect the bountry of our regional farmers, giving our guests a true taste-of-place. And we can’t forget about the wine! The excitement of turning grapes into wine radiates from dozens of vineyards on the Naramata Bench. Guests can join the fun by staying near the action.  Also new for 2021,  the return of the much-anticipated Okanagan Fall Wine Festival,
