Thinking about our opening day, on Friday, March 17 has us in trip planning mode. Here are some great reasons to visit Naramata Inn all year round.

The historic building is a reason in and of itself. The Mission revival style building anchors and welcomes visitors year round from its perch on Lake Okanagan’s eastern shore. Purpose built as Hotel Naramata in 1908 by town founders J.M. and Eliza Robinson, the destination welcomed visitors primarily by boat “back in the day.” Today it’s all about the scenic, winding journey by car that spans more than 40 wineries, distilleries, breweries and cideries, not to mention gorgeous vineyards, orchards and farms.

SPRING

Excitement is building with the reawakening of the Naramata Bench on the horizon. Get to know Naramata in an intimate way, with smaller crowds and good value, we invite you to stay a little longer and explore our South Okanagan village.

Dine Inn returns for the entire month of April. The $49 three-course menu will feature a selection of starters, mains and desserts where guests can mix, match, add and enhance to create a customized dining experience to their taste, cravings and budget.

The spring Season of Culinary 2023 lineup of exceptional, buzzworthy guest chefs next May is one reservation that you’ll want to book. Our delicious little village will be cooking up some of the most exciting culinary collaborations going by teaming up with the incredible talents of Alex Chen (Wild Blue, Boulevard), Nuit Regular (PAI, Kiin, By Chef Nuit, Sukhothai and Selva), Joël Watanabe (Kissa Tanto), Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson(Published on Main, Bar Susu). Don’t delay, only 10 rooms are available each night and tickets are selling QUICKLY.

The Naramata Bench is one of the most critically acclaimed and unique wine growing regions in the world, known for its top-quality wines that regularly win national and international awards. Ask any oenophile, and you’ll find this unique sub-appellation on the top of their bucket list. One of the best times to visit Naramata Bench wineries is early in the season to catch bud-break, to spend quality time with the winemakers, to avoid the crowds, and pro-tip – to stock the cellar! Wineries have the maximum amount of inventory that they will have all year, so if you’ve got your eye on a particularly popular varietal, this is your chance.

Get the band back together and let us take your group under our wing.
Have something to celebrate? A corporate retreat to plan? OR just want to go All-INN? Whether it’s a meeting of minds, or breaking of bread (and we *do* have really great bread), let us take your group’s get-together and turn it into something truly special.

SUMMER

While spring is ideal for sourcing wines, summer is the season to immerse yourself in the lush and lovely vineyard vibe. Home to some of BC’s best known bottles, the Naramata Bench offers a wide variety of distinct wineries, each in their own unique setting – from garage to grand, Master of Wine to mom and pop, farmyard to fancy. GrapeSavvy offers a hop-on, hop-off wine trolley that takes guests from dedicated pickup stops along the winding country road; a winery that pairs tastings with sheep visits, patios with some of the best views in the Okanagan, and winemakers that make their labour of love a family affair.

Summer in Naramata is also all about fresh fruit, perfect weather and the great outdoors. There’s a reason we’re famous for peaches and beaches! A quintessential Naramata summer day consists of a morning sweat session on the Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail, a leisurely lunch on the Inn’s gorgeous veranda, a refreshing dip in the lake, an evening stroll to the weekly farmer’s market, and a night cap on the Eliza patio.

When you stay at Naramata Inn, you become a local – AKA a “Naramatian” – for a short while. Just beyond the gardens stroll the magical village and discover the cutest little coffee shop, the locals favourite ice cream, cool and fashionable linens and more local shops, the museum, permaculture garden, parks, beaches and more.

Summer is also when the Naramata Inn menu is bursting with the most local bounty. With so much fresh in season, this is hyper-local dining at its best. The acclaimed Restaurant at Naramata Inn provides a true taste-of-place, weaving the stories of local suppliers into each bite. The wine list is arguably one of the best in BC and the exciting cocktails use the best of local distillers and garnishes from the bench.

Wellness, wellbeing and recreation – Naramata really does have it all. Book your summer getaway at naramatainn.com

FALL

Falling for autumn in Naramata is easy to do. September and October usually features incredible weather, fewer tourists, good value and culinary celebrations. Our unique village truly is a food and wine hub, and one of the tell-tale signs of autumn is the hustle and bustle of the wine crush and harvest season happening all around the Inn. Some of the brightest and most flavourful dishes rolling out of the kitchen are all thanks to the bounty of the harvest on the Naramata Bench.

Get ahead of the game – make some plans now for an autumn social gathering or corporate retreat in a unique setting your guests and colleagues won’t soon forget.
